How to dispose old Quran and the likes

Dear Moderator,

Please something bothering me, I want to dispose the old Tiras, Almathurat that are tattered and look like rag in the house?  


Answers:

Two options in arresting such a situations. 

1. Burning it as done by Seyyidnah Uthman in unifying the Masaaif.

2. Burying it to avoid, misuse, abuse and misconception. I recommend the second option because this reason is different from the reason why Uthman ordered for burning some copies of Quran in his regime. Shaykh Salaudeen Ariyadhy.
